A major extension and refurbishment designed by Andrew and Vanessa of Sweeney Architects. Extensive rock excavation was carried out to extend the lower level as well as an extension to the first floor and construction of a new pool house tripled the size of the house. A combination of Steel framed windows, heated polished concrete slabs and stone bench tops gave this house a unique contemporary feel. Project Value $850K.

This older federation style home was refurbished in 2010 to create additional living space. The existing kitchen and lounge room was demolished to make way for a new kitchen, living room, lounge room and study. During construction, the owner resided in the existing section of the property and special care had to be taken to protect the remaining part of the house.

GPM transformed this single story house to a modern two story home complete with engineered floorboards, motorized blinds and new joinery throughout. This once cramped home has been carefully constructed so that all space is utilized appropriately making it the ideal family home. Duration of work was 7 months.
